Epoxy resins for jewelry and castings
Most often, epoxies are used to make jewelry and small figurines or to coat larger surfaces. According to this use, there are different types of epoxies on the market that can be cured at different thicknesses. Resins for jewelry and figurines are most often suitable for products with a thickness of 1-3cm (max. 5cm), and resins for coating larger surfaces can also be used at a thickness of 5-10cm.
Also, most often epoxies are mixed in a different ratio, the most suitable for beginners is a ratio of 1:1.
Polyurethane resins
Polyurethane resin is white in color and is suitable both for making jewelry and various figurines, in case a transparent effect is not sought. It can also be colored with different types of pigments.
