Brocante powder can be used to create sand-like, stone-like or sparkling surfaces depending on the application method. It can be applied directly to a wet surface with a brush. It can also be mixed with Decor Glue in a 1:1 ratio to create a paste that is easy to apply, can be modelled, dries quickly and has good adhesion to the wall.

It can also be mixed with Decor Glue in a 1:1 ratio to create a paste that is easy to apply, can be modeled, dries quickly and has good adhesion to the wall. The paste can be applied with a spatula or trowel. It dries in about 2 hours. It can be very carefully smoothed with sandpaper if necessary. It also serves as a base for additional decorative layers. The paste made with Brocante powder and Decor Glue can be pre-colored with pigment paste . It can also be colored after it dries, using wall paints or wall glazes , to achieve an antique or metallic effect.
